The scorpion stays at the shelter for a while, then the animal is transferred to a reptile shelter. “The animal survived the cold of the luggage hold and therefore deserved a meal,” said the shelter. According to the shelter, it often happens that a scorpion travels from Croatia.
A woman from Austria had a similar situation last month. She found no fewer than 19 scorpions when she opened her suitcase at home.
