Equipped with mobile drums, guitars and amplifiers, the Sportfreunde Stiller wanted to give a spontaneous concert in the pedestrian zone of Freiburg on Wednesday (November 9th). Already during the first piece “A Compliment” two police officers stepped in and ended the performance.
The musicians remained calm despite the police
Since there was probably a quiet time on Kaiser-Joseph-Straße in Freiburg at the time of the performance, the band had to end their acoustic concert early. She appeared composed. According to their own statements, they do not have to expect any consequences either.

The band itself has also publicly commented on the incident, according to “Spiegel” among other things: “The interruption was provided with a really friendly note that there are a number of places in downtown Freiburg where you can play unannounced like this. In this respect, it was also our ignorance that led to this thoroughly friendly interruption.”
