UMK favorite Käärijä tells on the Urheilucast podcast how bad he was a few years ago.

Käärijä has risen from great obscurity to the biggest favorite of the New Music Competition Cha Cha Cha with his song.
Käärijä has had more difficult times.
A wrapper, in fact Jere Pöyhönen, recalls in the Urheilucast podcast how his album had just come out and he was supposed to go on a tour. Corona changed the plans and the gigs were cancelled.
Around the same time, Käärijä’s employment ended and his life partner left Käärijä. The wrapper moved to live alone, which was a completely new situation for him.
– I immediately tried to get another partner by my side and numb the bad feeling. The soup could taste good, Käärijä says.
The parents asked Käärijja if everything was fine.
– I thought that this is the way to go now, this is my life.
“I collapsed”
The wrapper says that the awakening happened due to an online comment. The wrapper did not read the nasty comment by any means.
– I put an anonymous online comment on Jodel. ***what the hell did I say.
The comment was related to an artist.
The wrapper realized after his comment that he was feeling bad.
– I collapsed. I just started screaming in bed.
Now he thinks that online commenters who swallow disgusting text are not necessarily doing well.
After the scream, the Scroll began to examine himself and think about what he should do to be happy again. Help was found from loved ones, i.e. family and friends.
– Talking helped, I told about my own problems and feelings, I opened up about things. It was damn good.
