Presenter Janne Porkan and influencer Sita Salminen gaps have become a topic of conversation Traitorswith the program.
Salminen, Porkka and Heikki Sorsa were chosen right at the beginning of the program by host Christoffer Strandberg’s nominations as fraudulent. The alliance of the three was broken right after shaking hands, when Porka’s behavior infuriated Salm.
– Maybe I’m a bit sensitive to the situation that, as a young woman, I’m such a middle-aged man that I can be talked over and I don’t have to apologize, Salminen said in the episode.
Later, Porka’s behavior seemed to act as a motivator, among other things, for the fact that Salminen and Sorsa, with the support of the faithful, voted Porka out of the program. The purpose was to smoke out one of the traitors, so that the remaining two would appear more reliable in the eyes of the faithful.
Porkka opened up about his feelings as Strandberg’s guest Traitorson the podcast. According to Porka, Salminen’s view of his behavior was surprising, because at first he did not even dare to communicate with the other fraudsters in the presence of the rest of the group.
– At what point did such a situation arise, where I was put in a bad light, so to speak, so that I can be dropped, Porkka ponders in the podcast.
Porkka gave understanding to Salminen’s words as part of the game tactics.
– In that way, I kind of took it upon myself that it was brought up, because I’m not that kind of person, Porkka says.
According to Porka, he usually gets along well with young people.
Communication afterwards
Salminen and Porkka have also communicated about it afterwards.
– I asked where such an impression came from. The answer was that I have to learn my lesson. I learn my lesson if, for example, it happened that I underestimated or something else, Porkka says.
Porkka believes that his concern about his teammates’ ability to cope may have contributed to the situation. He himself says that he panicked in the middle of a pressurized game and was therefore also worried about his allies’ ability to cope.
– It’s just a kind of built-in care drive.
Porkka admits that the other traitors turning against him got under his skin during the murder mystery, no matter how much he tried to take the game as a game.
– I was provoked and I apologize for that, Porkka says.
