Plopsaland makes amusement park smoke-free | Focus and WTV

The government wants to make all places where many children come smoke-free and that includes theme parks. The rule only applies from 2025, but Plopsaland is already introducing the smoking ban. In the amusement park in De Panne there will be five smoking zones where you can still smoke, nowhere else.

“I am pleased with the government’s initiatives,” says park manager Wim Wauters. “We had to do some practice to make the rules effectively enforceable. It is very difficult for us to walk around in the park and to rebuke people.”
