PlayStation Plus, June games revealed

Three new free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers are coming: Lead the God of War charge, along with two unique fighting games.

Punctual as the proverbial Swiss watch, here’s the announcement of the upcoming games PlayStation Plus in June. The announcement was expected at 17:30 today, after not one but two leaks coming first from Spain and then from France. The new entries of June coincide with the last month in which PS Plus will be as we know it, and before the current subscription does not become one of the three tiers available for players on PS4 and PS5 (specifically, the one called Essential) .

PlayStation Plus games for June –

Sony has closed the long journey of the “base” PlayStation Plus in the best way, with a big and two highly rated titles that will make their way into the lineup of free games for PS4 and PS5.

Here’s who it is:

  • God of War (PS4)
  • Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker (PS4)
  • Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl (PS4 and PS5)

All three titles can be redeemed from 7 June, while they will remain available to subscribers until 5 July. God of War doesn’t need much introduction: it’s the soft reboot of the Kratos saga, now set in Norse mythology with the addition of a new character, the son of the Greek god Atreus, who will receive a sequel this year. Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is an online multiplayer fighting game developed by Soleil and originally released in 2018, obviously focusing on the hugely popular manga and anime series made in Japan, while Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is an emulator of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with the characters of the American brand, such as Spongebob.

PS Plus in May –

Also May had been particularly important, in terms of games included in the subscription, for PlayStation Plus. Sony had in fact included FIFA 22 in the usual triptych of free titles for those in possession of a subscription, in addition to Curse of the Dead Gods and Tribes of Midgard. The scheme of the big with two other minor productions therefore seems to be proving to be a winner for the Japanese house, which has also replicated it for June. In case you haven’t redeemed them yet, you can do so until June 6, after which they will pass the ball to Kratos, Atreus and their colleagues for another month of gaming offered by PS Plus.
