Wild rumors about the Playstation 5 Pro console have started when Keytogaming publication claims to have received inside information about the upcoming Sony console.

According to anonymous insiders, the long-awaited and much-rumored PS5 Pro would be released at the end of 2024. The console is being developed under the code name “Trinity”.

The console also gets a noticeable power upgrade. The number of display controller computing units increases to 60 units (30 WGP). There are 36 units in the basic model. The memory speed will also presumably increase to 18 gigabits per second.

This would mean that the frame rate (FPS) with 4K resolution would be even better and smoother. In addition, the console would get a more efficient “performance mode” for 8K resolution, and accelerated ray tracing.

Before the PS5 Pro, Sony releases a thinner PS5 slim model. Keytogaming also hints that Playstation 6 rumors would be coming closer to the 2028 release.
