Beşiktaş made a statement on the official website about Ahmet Nur Çebi’s allegations that he proposed a play-off at the Clubs Union Foundation meeting. In the announcement made by the black and white people, it was stated that the allegations in question were untrue.

“The news in the written, visual and social media with the allegation that our President Ahmet Nur Cebi proposed to determine the Champion of Spor Toto Super League with the play-off system at the Clubs Union Foundation meeting is completely unfounded.
We state that our President Ahmet Nur Çebi did not have a request as alleged at the meeting in question, and we kindly ask the public not to give credence to the fanciful news that we believe are deliberately produced at the desk.”
