Plane has to make an unscheduled stopover so that passengers can go to the toilet | Bizarre

The Jet2 plane was on Thursday with 200 passengers en route from the tourist island of Gran Canaria to the British city of Manchester – good for a flight of 4 hours and 40 minutes in total.

Because the reservoirs of the aircraft toilets could not be emptied due to a defect, the passengers could not use the toilets en route. Halfway through the flight, the problem became more acute for some occupants.

The pilots felt wet and decided to make a stopover. It ended up being a stopover in Bilbao. The passengers could relieve themselves there at the airport, while technicians looked into the toilet problem. After about an hour, the Airbus A321 set course again for Manchester, without problems or dramas.
