Not 125, but around 80 to 90 luxurious holiday homes should be built in Ansen. Kontour Vastgoed has slightly changed the plans for a large holiday park. For example, the developer will no longer build all the houses themselves. Part of the land has been sold to the company Unbrick, which is responsible for approximately a third of the plan. However, concerns remain among local residents.
Today, residents from the village received text and explanation from Kontour about the ‘Het Anser Erf’ project in the Bastogne village hall. And the interest was great. It has become clear that Unbrick has taken over a piece of land from the company and is the first to start construction. The company hopes to start operations early next year. The aim is for 38 homes.
Unbrick is a company that can assemble holiday homes quite quickly. “Various modules are built in our own factory, for example a bedroom or a living room. Once on location, the modules can be easily assembled. The advantage is that a holiday park takes shape fairly quickly,” says Frank de Groot of Unbrick.
In addition, the luxury houses are completely self-sufficient. “The idea is that water is pumped up and does not end up in the sewer, but rather can flow cleanly back into nature,” adds Merijn Storm van Leeuwen, founder of the company. Solar panels are on the roof and the electricity is collected in a battery. Unbrick will install most of the utilities, which Kontour can later benefit from during its own construction. Also from the generated electricity.
Unbrick is still working on a project in Rolde, but the company hopes to break ground in Ansen in February next year. “Of course we still have to be granted the permits,” says De Groot. The company will only rent out the holiday homes, purchasing is not possible.
Kontour states that the collaboration with Unbrick is a solution. The facilities are being constructed and houses can be built quite quickly. Later, Kontour can start building itself while part of the park has already taken shape.
The company notices that it is a difficult market to sell holiday homes. That was one of the reasons for partially adjusting the plans. “We are now aiming for 45 to 55 homes of our own,” says Hielke Tillema, director of Kontour Vastgoed. “Unbrick has quite large yards, it will be the same with our houses.”
As soon as Unbrick has started, Kontour will look at its own construction planning. “We are in no hurry,” Tillema continues. “We will start sometime after the summer or at the end of 2024. Then we will start with 15-20 homes, then we will look further.”
