Plan for gas factory in Pekela may end up in the trash. Rather 2 million euros for more sustainable homes

If the volunteer work group that is involved in the sustainability project ‘Pekela gives Gas’ goes along with this change of course, this means that an additional 2 million euros in subsidy will become available. It is not yet clear whether the entire municipality will benefit from this council proposal. Initially only Boven Pekela is in the picture, but a number of political parties, including the PVV and PvdA, want that, for example, Nieuwe Pekela can also benefit.
