A Scandinavian-style holiday park with almost 400 homes is being constructed on the site of the former Hotel Zuid and the nearby sand extraction lake near Erica. The park, which will be named Nordic Nature, will be completed at the end of 2025. The construction will cost between 150 and 200 million euros. The company Cozi from Emmen is responsible for the development.
