Pizzeria Dennis will reopen its doors in Turku in May and at the same time return to its original location on Linnankatu, according to the restaurant’s on the website. The new Dennis is once again piloted by its founding family. Works as a restaurateur by Dennis Rafkin son Kim Rafkin.
Dennis Rafkin originally opened the restaurant on May 1, 1975. In 2008, the majority of the restaurant chain was sold to an investment company, and the chain went bankrupt in the fall of 2022. The founding family bought the pizzeria back for themselves from the bankruptcy estate.
– We want to return to Turku the original Dennis, which had good food and cheerful and helpful staff. The restaurant’s milieu was unique and both customers and staff enjoyed themselves there, the company’s website says.
