In Hungary, citizens spent the most extra for a pizza or quiche. Almost half (45.8 percent) more had to be paid there. Lithuanians and Bulgarians also lost more than a third to the court. The price for pizza and quiche rose the least in Switzerland, where 6.5 percent more had to be paid.
The statisticians in Luxembourg lumped quiche and pizza together. In France, the birthplace of the quiche, pizzas and quiches became just under 13 percent more expensive.
