Polish footballer Jakub Piotrowski is moving from Fortuna Düsseldorf to Ludogorets Razgrad in Bulgaria, the second division club announced.
The 24-year-old midfielder came to Fortuna from KRC Genk from Belgium two years ago and played 44 games for Düsseldorf.
Piotrowski approached the club with the change request, reported sports director Klaus Allofs.
“In such a case, all sides must be satisfied. That’s how it was in the end,” said Allofs. No obstacles were put in Piotrowski’s way when he switched to Razgrad. The Bulgarian champions are currently still playing in qualifying for the group stage of the Champions League.
