A few hours later came the next post. A mix of band footage, old music videos and surreal animations while playing “Another Brick in the Wall” in the background. In addition the text: “PINK FLOYD NOW ON TIK TOK”. Roger Waters sings “We dont need no education/ We dont need no false control/No dark sarcasm in the classroom/ Teacher, leave…” before the video ends abruptly.

The band’s entire catalog is also now available worldwide for TikTok users. This means that users can access every song from the 15 Pink Floyd studio albums to accompany their videos. Anything from The Piper at the Gates of Dawn to The Endless River is possible.
Songs for Ukraine
In April, the band released a single for the first time in 30 years. David Gilmour and Nick Mason (without Roger Waters) recorded the song “Hey Hey Rise Up” together with the Ukrainian musician Andriy Khlyvnyuk. All proceeds will go to the Ukrainian Humanitarian Relief Fund.
In March, to further protest the invasion of Ukraine, the band had their entire post-1987 discography, as well as Gilmour’s solo projects, erased from Russian and Belarusian music platforms.
