Pineapple confection. That emotional chocolate confection has been a part of the Juhlädääði convehteja box for decades and has divided people’s opinions firmly in two.
According to a survey conducted by Panda, 43 percent of Finns are of the opinion that pineapple pretzels should not be part of the pretzel box at all. Almost 20 percent of the respondents named it as their dislike for Juhlastaudei’s candies. Only six percent said it was their favorite. Pineapple candies have been causing an emotional stir on discussion forums for years.
So Ananas’ fan base is not big, but Panda’s Business Manager is Vesa Vainio all the more passionate about it.
– Some things should be done for the six percent.
– Pineapple candies are old and traditional candies and are familiar to many consumers from Juhlastaudei’s boxes. It is also one of the products that is expected a lot from us, especially as a product in its own right.
Vainio admits that the candy causes great emotions among Panda’s employees as well.
– Internally, too, people are divided into those who like pineapple and those who put it last in the candy box. So yes, it took a bit of twisting to get this product on store shelves. But pineapple fans know how good the confection is, and we want as many people as possible to have access to it or dare to taste it.
Wished light milk chocolate for candy
In addition to pineapple candies, autumn also brings other Christmas seasonal chocolates to the shops. Fazer brings the Karl Fazer Light Milk Chocolate box to stores, which contains light milk chocolate berries. According to Fazer, the flavor has been desired as a candy for several years. The Geisha box will also be available in stores for Christmas with a new flavor, Geisha Cinnamon.
The third candy novelty from Fazer is Karl Fazer Magical Moments, which contains nine different candies in two layers. The candy flavors in the box are, for example, queen-white chocolate and salty toffee-hazelnut nougat.
