Pinamar: gourmet gastronomy without getting up from the deck chair

They say the sea air makes you hungry. But when the day is good, it is difficult to decide between leaving the beach in search of a table for lunch or continuing to enjoy the sun. That dilemma has just been solved by the chef Rene Correa at Ufo Point in Pinamar, which goes down to the coast every noon to cook on the sand.

“Not everyone has an apartment with a view of the sea and in this way anyone can eat something delicious with this landscape,” Correa told NOTICIAS. This season, he is the only one with a gastronomic proposal of these characteristics. However, it is not only about the outdoor experience but also about enjoying a gourmet dish.

The kitchen in the sand has been a success so far. Correa goes down to the beach around 1 pm and the menu changes every day. On 4, for example, there were two options: shrimp anticuchos and meat ribs with a mattress of green leaves and traditional creole or creole with rocoto, which is a spicy Thai dish.

In winter, Correa repeats the experience in the UFO Point Las Lenas and its star dish is grilled pizza. “The idea is always that people enjoy their vacations with a different experience. Being able to be on your deck chair looking at the sea while the chef cooks next to you is unique”.
