Pilvi Hämäläinen tells in the Pilvi ja Paula podcast how he had once called Kela with a tight lip.
Actor Pilvi Hämäläinen39, and author Paula Noronen50, share Pilvi and Paula in his podcast, among other things, his dealings with different agencies.
Hämäläinen especially remembers the moment when he once applied for housing allowance from Kela. He had naturally filled out the application online and sent the required documents. When no support came, he ended up calling Kela’s service number.
– I called Kela and said: “What is this thing? I have sent everything I need there”. They said “here it shows that you haven’t attached your rental agreement,” the actor recalls in the episode.

Hämäläinen assured that he had sent a picture of the lease agreement as an attachment. Then the Kela employee examined the picture sent by the actor in more detail.
– He said: “Wait while I look.” Yes, there is a photo here, but this is not the lease. Obviously, you are in this picture,” says Hämäläinen.
The actor had accidentally sent Kela a picture of himself instead of a rental agreement. Hämäläinen’s story makes both him and Noro laugh.
– I was still very tense and wondering how strange it is when the photo doesn’t work, says the actor with a laugh.
Recently, Hämäläinen has been very busy with work. Among other things, he recently plotted New music competition together Benjamin Peltonen and Viivi Pumpanen with.
Hämäläinen was also one of UMK’s intermission performers. The actor gave a humorous performance that combined the most essential elements of wit. Both the show itself and Hämäläinen’s singing skills positively surprised the audience. Some even demanded on social media that Hämäläinen attend UMK next year.
