Defender Amos Pieper from Werder Bremen has set a big personal goal by participating in the 2024 European Football Championship.
“For me personally, that would be a huge goal. Of course, that also spurs me on, precisely because it’s a home European Championship,” said the central defender in a media round.
But he doesn’t want to “talk his way in” somewhere, but rather continue to perform. So far, in addition to 71 Bundesliga games, he has made ten appearances with the U21 national team.
