In the night from Wednesday to Thursday, the police arrested two boys who had managed to get a wallet from the Lange Jufferstraat in Utrecht. They did this by asking someone on a terrace for a fire.
That seemed harmless at first, but not much later it turned out that the person on the terrace was also missing a wallet. The victim then went in search of the suspects and managed to arrest them in the immediate vicinity, together with agents who had meanwhile arrived on the scene and with the help of CCTV.
To keep their hands free, officers had to briefly tie one of the suspects to a lamppost. That gave them time to search for the missing wallet, which turned out to be in the bushes.
