Picanol CEO takes over Latexco from Tielt
Luc Tack (pictured right) announces today that he has reached an agreement in principle to take over all activities and employees of the Latexco company. The takeover will be made through the company Harmony Industries.
Latexco, headquartered in Tielt and owned by the Luc Maes family, produces mattresses, pillows and toppers made of latex and PU foam. The company has more than 400 employees in Belgium, Spain, Indonesia and Singapore. The acquisition is expected to close in the course of this month.
“Today we reached an agreement with the family of Luc Maes about the continuity of the company Latexco. We are therefore looking forward to building a strong future for Latexco together with the employees,” explains Luc Tack.
“In turn, I am delighted that we can work with the Tack family and that I have been able to arrange the transfer of my company with peace of mind. Luc Tack’s choice gives me confidence because I am convinced Latexco has a stronger future in this way. My daughter Carole also fully supports this transaction,” says Luc Maes, the owner of Latexco.
No financial details about this transaction are being disclosed.
