Late ex-ski jumper Matti Nykänen widow Pia Nykänen has updated his weak feeling on social media in recent days. Now Nykänen says on his Instagram account that the cause of the shocking stomach pains has finally been found out in the hospital.
– The stomach pains were so freezing, but no wonder, the appendix had burst, he writes.
The appendix has now been operated on, and Nykänen says that he will spend at least another couple of days in the hospital.
On Monday, Nykänen published the first picture of the hospital.
– This is how it is today, he wrote in connection with the dramatic picture without explaining the situation in more detail.
Since then, Nykänen said that he had to undergo surgery.
– The pain remained on the operating table. Hunger is starting to dig in the stomach, last ate on Sunday morning, he wrote in his update early Tuesday morning.
Nykänen has received a lot of sympathy on Instagram in the comment fields of his updates.
