LLabor Day is celebrated on May 1 all over the world. This date was born in the struggle for workers’ rights during the Industrial Revolution in the United States. In the end, on May 1, 1955, Pope Pius XII instituted the feast of Saint Joseph the Worker for the entire Catholic Churchso that the feast could be fully celebrated also by Catholic workers.
