Photographers Antony are in the spotlight in Ostend

For the traditional summer exhibition, the Ostend Cultural Service chose the artistic and historical work of the brothers Antony. A few years ago she acquired a large part of their photo archive and now the public gets to know ‘Ostend through the lens of Antony’, the name of the exhibition.

The press and reportage photographers accepted commissions from artists and the royal family, but also portrayed the common man and the architecture of Ostend. They stood out because they only photographed on glass for their entire career.
