Everyone in Purmerend who follows social media will probably have seen his images. Drone images that show Purmerend from above, from a completely different perspective. Photographer Kenneth Nwosu started flying drones during corona. “Anyone can fly a drone, but doing it cinematically is a completely different story.”
Kenneth has been working as a professional photographer since 2014. He is best known for his work as fitness photographer. “I still enjoy doing that. I’ve photographed thousands of people. Especially in the fitness and bodybuilding world, many are now familiar with my work,” he says Purmerend region. He noticed that more and more customers were looking for video productions. “As an entrepreneur you dive into that.”

Purmerend was regularly treated to beautiful images from the air by Kenneth during the lockdown. “I was able to practice and by sharing it on the social media I got more exposure.” It started with simple images, but they became more and more complex.
“And the more complex, the harder the controls are,” says Kenneth. “For example, flying through open windows at a car dealership to get the ultimate shot. That has already cost a few repairs to my drones. But now I have it under control. All in all, it takes six months before you get that under control. have a knee.”
“And let’s face it, it’s a fun toy”
Kenneth initially bought his first drone to complement his usual work as a photographer/videographer. “During corona, the assignments fell away and I started to study drones. This flying platform for a camera offers unique perspectives. And let’s be honest, it’s a fun toy.” The arsenal already consists of several drones. “I can now choose the right one for every application and job.”
‘Through the tiniest holes’
With Dronemagic, Kenneth mainly focuses on companies that want to present their business in a different way. “I have specialized in so-called ‘one takers’. These are films of, for example, a showroom where I send my drone through the smallest holes and the recording is on continuously. I see that companies are increasingly interested in these kinds of possibilities. You present your business in a completely different way.”
