Danny Willems from Blankenberge was not only a photographer but also a close friend of Arno. He followed Arno Hintjens for fifty years. From when they were boys, until the day they were gray. The exhibition is not only a tribute to Arno but also an ode to friendship: ‘Gie and I, Toi et moi’.
No one photographed like Willems, no one sang like Hintjens. The result can be seen from December 19, 2023 to May 21, 2024, the day Arno would have turned 75.
