He encounters many hectic situations in his work as a photographer, but he did not expect that he would one day rescue a dog. “I happened to be in Wijhe because fellow photographers in that area could not rely on the police report. I saw something floating. I zoomed in with my lens to see exactly what it was swimming there. That turned out to be a dog.”
