The Jumbo ravage photo that has been distributed by the juice channel Gossip Talk does not appear to be from the aftermath of Glennis Grace’s visit. “It concerns a looted branch from last year.”
Two weeks ago, GossipPraat posted a photo of a pretty battered Jumbo branch. ‘This is what the JUMBO after Glennis looked like’, was the headline in the popular show section of Dennis Schouten and Jan Roos. “A big mess where not even the toilet paper was spared. We wish Jumbo a lot of strength.”
Looted Jumbo
However, that photo, which Gerard Joling may have also talked about, does not appear to be from the aftermath of the visit of Glennis Grace and her vigilante team. The juice channel Reality FBI has discovered that the photo in question has already been taken with a Broadcasting Brabant article from last year it says: ‘looted Jumbo in Den Bosch will open again soon’.
It turns out to be a photo of a Jumbo branch that was damaged during the corona riots. “This photo was used by various media to show the alleged havoc of Glennis Grace’s visit to the Jumbo, when she allegedly smashed it with her party. That will be a rectification for many ?”, says Reality FBI†
Sneer at Evert
Private editor-in-chief Evert Sankrediets reported over the weekend that he has never seen the alleged photo of Glennis’ mess, which Gerard Joling was talking about. “So there seems to be a photo of what that store looked like once Glennis and her gang had left. It never came out either.”
Gossip then reported: “What a cookie baker that Sanwaarden. (…) Oh is that so? Did it never come out? Well friend, he’s been on this beautiful page for a while. What kind of person are you if you didn’t know that.”
The message has since been removed by Gossip Talk.
Undercover action
It is striking how little has been leaked about Glennis’ hysterical visit to the Jumbo. Evert Sankrediets has sent some undercover journalists to the branch with full shopping carts, but everyone there keeps their mouths shut.
