Philippe Clement has become the new coach of Monaco, the French First Football League (Ligue 1) team.
On the first day of the new year, Niko Kovac, who was dismissed, will be replaced by 47-year-old Clement. According to the statement made by the club, a contract valid until the end of the 2023-24 season was signed with the Belgian coach.
Starting his coaching career in 2017, Clement won 3 league titles in the last 3 seasons with his country’s Genk and Club Brugge teams.
