He just keeps playing! Hans Lindberg (40) extends the Foxes Berlin until 2023.
Right winger Hans Lindberg leads the scorer list with 217 goals, including 115 penalties. When it comes to penalty throws, his quota is extremely high at 92 percent.
The Dane: “As everyone knows, I feel very comfortable in Berlin and as long as I’m fit, I want to take this opportunity to celebrate success here.”
Foxes manager Bob Hanning (54) is overjoyed: “Renewing with Hans is always fun. He is more than a player for the club. He has become a figure we can identify with, who lives values like hardly any other athlete.”
And he is world champion and third in the all-time top scorer list in the Bundesliga with 2,734 goals.
Sport board member Stefan Kretzschmar (49): “Hans is a phenomenon for me. He’s incredibly effective and an incredibly important figure for our team. It’s like a good wine, I have the feeling that it gets better every year.”

Even in old age, the left-hander is an integral part of the team. “He’s having a sensational season. I’m very happy that he’s staying,” said Kretzschmar.
Coach Jaron Siewert (28): “I as a coach, but also the foxes and the league should be happy about this news. He played a leading role in shaping the path of our association. What he brings to the record at his age is outstanding.”
Fortunately, only one title is missing in the coming season. The foxes have three chances.
