Joohyung Kim, a 20-year-old South Korean, won the Wyndham Championship golf tournament in Greensboro (USA).
Kim is the second youngest winner of a PGA Tour in the past 60 years. The American Jordan Spieth won a PGA Tour in 2013 as a 19-year-old.
Strong 61 final round
Kim finished the $7.3 million Wyndham Championship Sunday (local time) 20 under par.
Thanks to only 61 shots in the final round, the South Korean pushed past his compatriot Im Sungjae and the American John Huh. Kim pocketed $1.3 million with the win.
Jäger also outstanding on the fourth day
Germany’s Stephan Jäger finished in 13th place, staying ten strokes under par. The Munich native completed a strong final loop when he used just 62 strokes: the second-best round of any competitor behind winner Joohyung Kim.
Another German, Yannik Paul, finished 36th in the Wyndham Championship.
