The petrol price will drop by 17 cents on Friday, but motorists will still be at the pump on Eisenhowerlaan in Eindhoven on Thursday. It seems that most drivers have no other choice. However, there are also people who are not impressed by the price reductions.

At the pump they notice on Thursday that fueling is being done economically. On Friday, petrol prices will fall by 17 cents due to the excise tax cuts. “Today I have people who have refueled for 2.95 euros and 10 euros. We will see them again on Friday to fill the entire tank,” says the pump employee.

Not all motorists take the price reductions into account. “I have to, otherwise I won’t come home. The prices will not suddenly drop by 40 percent. Refueling is refueling,” says a man.

Also, detours to Belgium, for example, are not always a choice. “That can be done at the weekend, but if you have to go to an appointment quickly for work, I’ll just fill the whole tank.”
