Colombian President Gustavo Petro announced this Saturday the suspension of the arrest and extradition orders against the negotiators of the guerrilla of the National Liberation Army (ELN) who are in Cuba.

“I want to announce that by decree, signed yesterday, I have authorized to restore the protocolsallow negotiators again, who can reconnect with your organization, suspend arrest warrants for those negotiators, suspend extradition orders to those negotiators so that a dialogue with the ELN can begin“said the head of state at the end of a security council held in San Pablo, a town in the department of Bolívar (north).
