Petition to preserve Hoge Veluwe campsite signed more than a thousand times | NOW

The intention is that the nature campsite in De Hoge Veluwe National Park will disappear and turn into a parking lot. Many users want the camping area to remain. They have started a petition, which has already been signed more than a thousand times.

In April, park director Zeger van Voorst tot Voorst announced plans to build a hotel a little further away. That should be on the spot where the fields of football club Beatrix used to be. The park now rents the site to a beekeeper. When the hotel is built, the parking lot at the Hoenderloo entrance will move to the place where the camping site is now.

The initiators of the petition hope that the nature campsite will be preserved at the current location or, if this is really not possible, that it can be redeveloped in the vicinity.
