Since last year, Petit Bateau has been working with Water Family to educate young people about the world of water and the protection of biodiversity.
WATER FAMILY is a non-profit organization that educates children (and their parents) about the importance of water. Through the educational programs and activities, 84,000 young people are sensitized every year. And that is not insignificant! In one year, Petit Bateau and Water Family together reached 93,482 children.
Our goal: to raise the awareness of 1,000,000 children by the end of 2023. Together we want to act at the source!
Petit Bateau and Water Family have designed a collection for all ages, made from organic cotton and made in our factories. It is dedicated to the importance of water. This resource is the source of life and joy, but also essential to be able to generate oxygen on earth. That is why it is so important to Petit Bateau to educate children to protect it and reduce its use.
The Petit Bateau brand is committed to protecting the environment, using raw materials that are more environmentally friendly and adopting more ethical and ecological production processes. The collection is made from organically grown cotton, which uses 91% less water than regular cotton. It therefore puts less strain on the earth and the seas.
Around 2,700 liters of water are needed to produce one T-shirt. That’s why our garments are designed to withstand all of the kids’ adventures and look great for a long time.
