Peter Wright, 53, is a millionaire and two-time world darts champion. Scot reveals In an interview with The Sunthat despite the huge profits, one cannot live comfortably.
Wright’s manager’s wife Joanne gives his spouse only 212 pounds or 246 euros in weekly allowance.
– Would I make luxury purchases? No, I can’t do that. I get £212 a week. I try to compete and win. Jo is the richest manager in darts, Wright joked.
According to The Sun, Wright’s property is worth around three million pounds, or 3.5 million euros. Sitting on top of the money chest, wife Joanne wants to make sure Wright doesn’t squander his fortune before retirement.

The wife has played a big role in Wright’s career. Joanne and her father once encouraged Wright to turn pro. At first, the wife paid for her husband’s flights, hotels and competition entry fees.
Joanne also makes Wright’s colorful mohawk styles, which the world champion is known for.
– Last year, Jo was in the hospital for three weeks. I thought he was going to die. Fortunately, everything is fine now, says Wright.
There is more money on offer for the Wright family as the World Darts Championship kicked off last week. The top prize is £500,000.
