Is there anyone in Hilversum even more hypocritical? Peter van der Vorst throws even more on the way to the exit dirt on the screen at RTL. “Stop hating, start loving, be sweet? It’s laughable!”, says Tina Nijkamp.
It is unprecedentedly shameless of RTL’s TV boss Peter van der Vorst: using the slogan ‘Stop hating, start loving, be sweet‘, while he broadcasts one program after another in which scheming celebrities screw each other. What does that mean? Viewers who post hate comments on social media. And then act hypocritically against it. Sigh.
Hate TV
It is probably better for everyone that Peter is now on his way to the exit at RTL, but towards the back door he still bangs something dirt on the screen. It concerns the Videoland series House of Villains, in which – according to RTL itself — everything revolves around ‘lies and fights’. Stop hating, start loving, be sweet? All for the stage.
TV authority Tina Nijkamp has seen the first images (see below) and is astonished. “‘Stop hating, start loving, be sweet’, says Peter van der Vorst. How proud will Peter be of this show? Has there ever been a channel with a motto that now does exactly the opposite? Worthless. Watch and judge for yourself,” she writes on her analysis channel.
Over the red
Tina shares some screenshots with quotes from the program of presenter Soundos El Ahmadi, such as: ‘I will knock your f*ck teeth out of your f*ck mouth’, ‘f*ck whore’ and ‘you are a f*cking liar’. “Even Over de Roooie and De Gouden Kooi were even more tasteful than this,” says Tina.
She continues sharply: “Peter van der Vorst seems to have completely lost his way. How can you buy this? This is not Stop hating, but just justifying it RIGHT. Pfff what is this???”
Temptation
A Tina spy cannot follow Peter at all. What standards does he actually apply? “It may sound strange, but this is even more intense than Temptation Island when I see the images.”
Tina: “Yes, that’s exactly what I had in mind. That’s fine, but stop wanting to be the neatest boy/girl in class on stage like RTL always does.”
Unprecedentedly vulgar
TV critic Victor Vlam locks himself up X completely up to Tina. “RTL has just dropped the first trailer of the Videoland series House of Villains. Really unprecedentedly vulgar: just shouting, arguing and swearing. Isn’t this the same channel that preaches about respect, acceptance and ‘be sweet’?”
“And to think that bringing the VI trio to RTL is not possible and Temptation Island is not possible either. But this program is apparently possible. It is simply not compatible. RTL wants to be morally good, but without paying the associated price.”
