Shortly after the abuse riot around The Voice of Holland surfaced, Anouk announced that he would stop immediately as a coach at the talent show. RTL’s TV boss Peter van der Vorst has not thanked her for this, she reveals this afternoon in an interview with The Coen & Sander Show on Radio 538.

Screaming suckling pig

Anouk got on the phone with a hysterical Peter. “The next day, that was that Monday, I got Peter van der Vorst on the phone like a screaming suckling pig. He started screaming that I was a backstabber and that we had to solve everything hand in hand because we had such a good relationship. Well, I haven’t at all.”

She continues: “I saw that man three times. We just have a business meeting, so yeah, I thought that was a little odd. I said, ‘Dude, just shut your fucking waffel. You’d better scream at all those guys who can’t keep their fucking dicks in their pants and not at me.’ After that I never spoke to anyone again.”

No one spoke

Since that huge collision, Anouk has heard nothing from RTL. “I don’t know at all what’s going to happen. I haven’t heard anything more. I don’t know if there will be another Voice at all. I seriously haven’t spoken to anyone about it.”

Would she collaborate on a sequel? “Well, I don’t know. Then a big broom will have to be run through the shop first. The fact that I haven’t actually heard anything yet doesn’t bode well either. Before you continue with a program, you need to have a good talk with everyone to see how you are going to do things differently.”

Awkward

Did she have a good relationship with Voice perverts like Ali B and Jeroen Rietbergen? “I got on well with all those guys. All that matters. It’s totally ridiculous what happened, but I really liked them. I liked them all. That just makes it even more disappointing actually and even more awkward what happened.”

Did she know? “People say, ‘Ah, she should have seen that already.’ No, just shut up! I don’t socialize with people, ever! Everyone who knows me knows: I arrive, I do my job, I work and then immediately get into the car. I don’t go into people’s locker rooms, I’m not having fun hurting, I just want to go home.”
