Peter Gillis gives a big compliment to Talpa management: ‘They are doing well’

Peter Gillis disagrees with the criticism that Talpa is an immoral company. He gives John de Mol and his army of directors a big compliment. “They are all doing well.”

There is a lot of criticism of John de Mol’s Peter Gillis policy. Many people find it incomprehensible that a company would even want to associate with such a person, whether he is convicted of assaulting Nicol Kremers or not. After all, there are now enough reasons to stop the incessant Gillis cuddling at Talpa.

‘Talpa is doing well’

Peter is happy that John keeps him on the tube. “Yes, season eleven will continue,” he says triumphantly in the latest Show news. “Of course many people have tried to get it off the air through all kinds of things, but I have to say: Talpa does it well. As long as there is no conviction, yes…”

He continues: “These are all assumptions what people say and do. I always say: tall trees catch a lot of wind. Everyone laughs at that, but that’s the way it is. Wen already says: ‘Peter, you have a thick skin.’”

Do the Talpa puppets in the studio have any critical remarks about it? Evert Santegoeds: “He has lost a lot of weight.”

‘I’m not paying myself!’

According to Nicol’s manager, there are plenty of rumors that SBS 6 will only broadcast the new season of Massa is Kassa because Peter pays himself. He refers to that RTL Boulevard to the realm of fables: “If everyone knows Petertje, then that is certainly not the case. I think it’s all envy, guys.”

He continues: “Everyone has of course tried to get Massa is Kassa off the TV. I think it’s fine, but we just keep filming. It may take a long time before those rulings are there, but let justice prevail soon. That’s fine.”

Improving image

Media connoisseur Victor Vlam thinks that this man should just be off the screen. “The available evidence that we already know – and that will not be as much as the Public Prosecution Service has – I think is already quite intense. So that things have happened here that cannot be accepted, that is clear,” he says in the podcast The Communicados.

He continues: “Nevertheless, that man still gets a platform, prime time on SBS, to boost his image. Well, I share that criticism. I really don’t understand this decision at all.”

excuse

Earlier this summer, Talpa promised the Gillis soap hold to a court ruling, but they will continue to broadcast anyway. Victor: “I was really very skeptical about that at the time, for the very simple reason that recording days are terribly expensive. It’s kind of crazy if you think you’re not going to broadcast that.”

He concludes: “John de Mol has deep pockets, but he did not become a billionaire by throwing money over the bank. I think they always had the intention to broadcast it (…) but that they have been waiting all this time for an excuse to broadcast it. And in this case, the excuse is: the trial has been postponed.”
