Appearance is the talk of the Finnish auction emperor.
A few years ago, the Keskisuomalainen newspaper organized a playful contest where readers could vote for the most handsome man in Central Finland. The winner was chosen by an avalanche of votes – and he was Aki Palsanmäki.
The auction emperor lost, among other things, a singer Pete Parkkonen, who is a guest in tonight’s episode of Hirvaskanka. Even though the title has been shared several years ago, Pete still remembers his defeat.
– It saddens me that you beat me already for the second time, the musician says, when in his opinion Aki has paid too little for the goods.
So Pete feels that he lost to Aki for the second time, now in trading.

Aki immediately knows what Pete means.
– I have won the most handsome man in Central Finland competition!
– What? And not! Heli has never heard of her husband’s success before.
– Pete won the silver, Aki confirms next to him, laughing.
– That’s right, I finished second, Petekin says.
Aki guesses at the Finnish auction emperor that this is how everyone has been so serious.
– Would some have voted for me when they were begging? she doubts, but Pete doesn’t share the view.
– It’s in the eye of the beholder, he reminds.

Despite everything, Aki thinks that if they went to a bar with Pete alone, Pete would have more to export.
– I bet you’d be fine if we made a bet on who would have a girl on their knee sooner.
– It kind of depends on which pub you go to, Pete points out.
– And what age group is there, Aki laughs at those present.
