Comedian Pete Davidson, 28, dreams of becoming a father.
Davidson, who is dating media personality Kim Kardashian, opens up about his family dreams in the new season of Kevin Hart’s show.
Davidson’s father died in the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2001 when Davidson was only seven years old.
The father was a fireman who was killed while evacuating hotel guests from the twin towers.
After his father’s death, Davidson grew up with a single mother and little sister.
– I did not cope with the situation very well. It was a hellish nightmare, Davidson described.
In an interview, Davidson said that his father’s death inspired him to pursue a career as a comedian.
– If my childhood had been happy, I would probably be working on a construction site in Staten Island and I would be the happiest man in the world. But all those hardships made me love comedy.
The comedian said that he is a family-oriented person and that he is preparing for a possible future phase of life.
– That’s my dream. Horny, but it would be fun. Dress up the little guy. I’m excited about that stage of life.
Davidson and Kardashian, 41, have been dating since fall 2021. The couple initially kept their relationship a secret.
Kardashian has four children from her former marriage to rap artist Kanye West.
