Tonight around 8 p.m. a stabbing incident took place on the Laanstraat in Hilversum. The stabbed person has died as a result of the stabbing, a police spokesman said later in the evening. A man was arrested on location for possible involvement.
Several emergency services and an air ambulance were called. At the scene of the stabbing, attempts were made to resuscitate the victim, but to no avail.
The immediate area around the house in the center was temporarily cordoned off. “The police are still investigating what exactly happened,” said a police spokesman.
