Perr Schuurs wants to play more and moves from Ajax to the Italian Torino

Perr Schuurs has made his transfer. The central defender is leaving Ajax and has signed a contract with the Italian Torino until 2026.

Torino pays 9 million euros for Schuurs. That amount can rise to 11.3 million euros.

Four years ago Ajax took over Schuurs from Fortuna Sittard. In Amsterdam he never really managed to break through and played a total of 95 official duels. The footballer indicates that he wants to play more and therefore opts for a transfer. Yet he is grateful to Ajax. “I came in as a shy boy and now I’m going out with a little more Amsterdam bluff. I’ve become more confident.”

Successor

Ajax is looking for a successor for Schuurs. Turkish talent Ahmetcan Kaplan would be an important candidate. Kaplan is still under contract with Trabzonspor.
