Pernilla Böckerman and Anssi Heikkilä made their way to the Dance with the Stars final.
Pernilla Böckerman did Dancing with the starswith the gums – dance teacher after studying history in the program Anssi Heikkilä with no less than two dozen lines for the fourth week in a row. Earlier, the same record of three consecutive weeks of ten was held by the singer Krista Siegfrids, also with Heikkilä.
Böckerman’s dancing skills left the jury speechless. Even the dancer herself is at a loss for words after the semi-final.
– I can’t say anything reasonable anymore, Böckerman describes.
– I feel a bit empty somehow. The semi-final dances were so intense and the desire to get to the final was so great that you can’t understand this, adds Heikkilä.

The dance couple, who will go down in the TTK history books with their ten lines, says that their continuous successes have required them to play hard as a team and from time to time even train hard. Böckerman’s TTK journey has also included injuries, when he broke his rib at the beginning of the season.
– Now we have gotten rid of them. I haven’t even needed a physiotherapist to open this middle body anymore. It’s really nice that it no longer takes energy, says Böckerman.
A surprise guest on the floor
In the final episode, the couples have to dance no less than three dances. One of the dances is together with a loved one. Böckerman chose a rower across the Atlantic as his close friend, his indoor rowing coach Jari Saarion.
– Jari is simply the best and the most wonderful person in the world, Böckerman describes Saario.

Heikkilä says that he called Saario about the upcoming dance recital. Saario has not been afraid to row alone across the Atlantic, but a one-minute dance clip on a national TV program has made Saario afraid.
– He told me that this was the worst phone call he had ever received in his life. That’s what we start to build the show together, Heikkilä laughs.
After the semi-final broadcast, Böckerman celebrates his place in the final with fast food.
