Athlete and social influencer Pernilla Böckerman has changed her training routines after the diagnosis.

Bikini Fitness world champion and social media influencer Pernilla Böckerman says that she has been in a life situation for a long time where everything is as it should be.
– It’s wonderful to be in an interview for once and to say that everything is fine in life, Böckerman says to Iltalehti at the launch event of the Avercini brand.
Böckerman, who turns 23 on Sunday, has recently had to live with various health concerns. Recently, however, the top athlete got an answer from the doctor about what has been bothering his body.
– Such an annoying situation that there are flaws in the basic condition. What it has done is that I have been training too hard and now the wall has hit me. I’ve never faced a wall before, mentally or physically. Now it’s time, Böckerman opens.

The young athlete says that he himself realized from his body that everything is not in order. Getting the diagnosis was a great relief for him.
– After the diagnosis, I have known what I have to do in the future in order to change the situation. I’ve been training in a really different way. I train myself to be in top shape by doing extremely good basic endurance for myself, he continues.
Böckerman’s goal is to represent both himself and Finland in some kind of competition in the future. Sport, however, is not necessarily fitness.
– Basically, I got what I wanted from Fitness. Bikini fitness might not inspire me that much at the moment, even though it is a beloved sport.
Böckerman highlights, among other things, rowing and indoor rowing as the next possible sports.
– It could be some year that I’ll be at the Olympics! He states happily.
Boyfriend in public
Since there are no known next bikini fitness competitions, Böckerman plans to invest more in her career. The young entrepreneur became known in the public eye when he was only 15 years old.
At that time, Böckerman started telling about his own life and sports with YouTube videos. Today, she has over 204,000 followers on Instagram.

Böckerman says that there are also plans for “secret work projects” together with her boyfriend Artun with. The couple has been married since 2021.
– These are things I haven’t said a word about before. Arttu hasn’t been in public and he hasn’t been seen much anywhere, says Böckerman.
– There is a joint work project planned, which hopefully will see the light of day soon, Böckerman reveals.
Böckerman says that the new project is in no way related to sports, even though the couple do several different sports together. Judging by the clues, it’s some kind of sound production.
– Let’s say this, that we get our opinions, thoughts, our family and family thoughts out in a big way, to the ears of the whole nation. Two very talkative people get to work together, Böckerman hints with a twinkle in the corner of his eye.

The apartment is still for sale
Iltalehti reported in January that Böckerman has put his apartment in Taka-Töölö, Helsinki, up for sale. Böckerman confirms to Iltalehti that the apartment has not yet been sold.
In Iltalehti’s original news, the asking price for the apartment was 438,000 euros. Currently, the price in the apartment advertisement published on Etuovi.com is 419,000 euros.
– If the room doesn’t sell for a good price, then it won’t sell. We’ll look again later, luckily there’s nothing wrong with this, says Böckerman.
Böckerman’s wish would be to have more living quarters together with her boyfriend Artu.
The influencer says that there have been enough eager buyers, but a suitable offer has not come along yet.
– There is nothing wrong with the apartment, but the world situation is difficult. Fingers crossed that a good buyer will be found, Böckerman concludes.
