The transfer from Bilal Hussein to Hertha is perfect!
For the Berliners, the Swede is the longed-for reinforcement in midfield. Bilal Hussein is coming to Berlin from AIK Solna, as the capital city club announced on Wednesday evening. The 23-year-old can play as a six and eight and should help to fill the gaps in central midfield in Berlin.
Hussein, two-time Sweden international, has signed a contract that is valid until June 30, 2026. As usual, Hertha did not provide any information about the fee.
Defender Filip Uremovic leaves Hertha on the other hand. The club canceled the contract with the 26-year-old by mutual consent, as Hertha previously announced in the afternoon.
According to the report, the central defender, who only moved to Berlin last summer, was one of the top earners in the struggling Hertha squad. This saves the club another salary.
Hertha did not say whether Uremovic already has a new club. According to BZ information, he is drawn back to his homeland to Hajduk Split.
