More than four years after 39 migrants were found dead in a truck in the United Kingdom, a member of the people smuggling gang has been convicted. A haulier from Northern Ireland has been jailed for seven years, the Old Bailey Criminal Court in London ruled on Thursday. The 26-year-old man was driven by greed when he and others smuggled migrants into the country on several occasions, the jury heard.
