People from Groningen take to the streets ten years after the worst earthquake

Because the problems of gas extraction are still ‘undiminished’, Groningers are taking to the streets today to draw attention to the ‘slow motion disaster’ in their province. Exactly ten years after the earthquake near Huizinge, with a magnitude of 3.6 the heaviest earthquake caused by gas drilling in the Netherlands, Groningen organizations are therefore starting a month of action.
