Pentland Brands appoints three new brand bosses

British clothing group Pentland Brands redistributed responsibility for several of its brands on Friday.

As part of the personnel move, Simon Breckon was appointed Senior Vice President (SVP) of Speedo. He has been working for the group since 2018 and most recently managed the labels Ellesse, Kickers and Miter.

Breckon’s previous position was taken over by Jack Richardson, who now acts as SVP of Ellesse, Kickers and Miter. According to the company, in this role he will be responsible for product development and marketing for Ellesse and Miter around the world as well as Kickers in the UK. Richardson previously led the Canterbury brand and teamwear division as SVP.

The new SVP for Canterbury was also found internally: The post will be held by Luke Doddrell, who was previously responsible for Australia and New Zealand at Canterbury as General Manager and at the same time held the position of Commercial Director for the Asia-Pacific region at Pentland Brands.

According to the company, Breckon, Richardson and Doddrell will begin their new positions later this month and will report directly to Pentland Brands Chief Marketing Officer Penny Herriman.
